Cameron's Bday cake

So for my brother turning the big 18 I had no idea what I wanted his cake to be like, and since it was a surprise party I couldn't ask him what he would like so I went simple. To some people it might be simple but for me I had never made a three tier cake so for me it was very special. I got vey lucky and found some cookie cutters that are letters and it made the letter making a breeze.

Apple Puff Pastry

Apple Puff Pastry To be honest this is the first time I've used puff pastry I usually just make a traditional apple pie, so I figured I would try it out and came out with this.

Cut up the apples and add all you ingredients in a bowl with apples and let it set for a little while to let the juices come out of the apples.

I've tried to make my own puff pastry before but it didn't turn out so well do the quickest way and buy a frozen package from the store. Let thaw and cut into squares. One sheet makes 9 squares.

Fill with apple filling, bake, then enjoy.

Ingredients
-2 tablespoons sugar
-2 small apples peeled
-2 teaspoons flour
-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of salt
-1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Add all ingredients in a bowl. Lay out puff pastry and cut to desired size. Fill with filling and cook at 350 degrees. For 15 to 20 minutes sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon over the top once they are threw cooking.
